Your Company Data Could Be Worth $100K to $2M
AI companies are paying established businesses for real internal data: SOPs, knowledge bases, CRM records, project histories, QA processes and team communications. The documentation you already have can become a new revenue stream. If you want to sell, answer three quick questions to see if your company qualifies.
- Open to every industry
- US companies first, then other Western markets
- No new work, you license what already exists

Before you share a support ticket, a chat log or a document outside your company, you should remove the personal details in it. This tool does that for you. Paste your text, choose the types of information to find and click Redact. It finds email addresses, phone numbers, Social Security numbers, credit card numbers, IP addresses, web links, street addresses, dates and common first names. You can also add your own list of names or words to hide, such as client or project names. Pick how each item is replaced: a simple label, a numbered token that keeps the same person linked across the text, or a solid block. A summary shows how many items of each type were found. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded. Always read the result before you share it.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is PII?
PII stands for personally identifiable information. It is any data that can identify a specific person, such as a name, email address, phone number, home address, Social Security number, credit card number or IP address. Many privacy laws limit how PII can be stored and shared.
How do I redact personal information from text?
Paste the text into the box above, choose which types of data to find and click Redact. The tool replaces each match with a label such as [EMAIL] or a numbered token such as [PERSON_1]. Always read the result before sharing it, since no automatic tool catches everything.
Is my text sent to a server?
No. All matching happens in your browser with JavaScript. The text you paste is never uploaded or stored. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool keeps working.
Can this tool find every name?
No. It finds common English first names, names after titles such as Mr. or Dr. and any names you add to the custom list. Unusual names and company names may be missed. Add known names to the custom box and review the output by hand.
When do companies need to redact data?
Before sharing support tickets, chat logs, documents or datasets with vendors, AI tools, auditors or data partners. Redaction lowers privacy risk and helps meet laws such as GDPR, CCPA and HIPAA. It is a common step before licensing business data to AI companies.
Labels vs Numbered Tokens
Plain labels hide everything but lose who is who. Numbered tokens keep the same person or email as the same token across the whole text, so a conversation still makes sense. Keep the token key private, since it can reverse the redaction.
What Automatic Tools Miss
Pattern matching is good at structured data like emails and card numbers. It is weaker on free text, such as nicknames, job titles that point to one person or details like "the CFO's daughter." Always do a quick human review.
Redact Before You Share
Remove personal data before you paste text into a public AI chatbot, send logs to a vendor or share examples in a case study. It is one of the simplest ways to lower privacy risk under laws such as GDPR, CCPA and HIPAA.
Redaction and Data Licensing
Companies that license their internal data to AI firms usually have it anonymized first. Trusted data partners handle redaction at scale, but running your own spot checks shows you what kind of personal data lives in your records.
